Artist's Comments

The glorious month of March in my Crayola Activity Calendar.

It's a woodland creature interacting with a bi-pedal box of crowns the way I hope it always happens.

This...

Is...

The funniest thing ever!

TAKE THAT MONOPOLY OF COLOR!

I became a Graphic Designer so I could be the 'Starving Artist' without the 'Starving'.

Oooh, pretty colors.

Poor bears, though; so misunderstood.

"Then they all piled on top of one another and had a massive ninja orgy!"

98% of teens drink or have been around alcohol, put this in your signature if you like bagels.

:DHa:DHa:confused:Wait,what?
:iconmackgeofries:
Didn't it say "draw a picture of your forest friends."?

Still makes me LOL every time.
:icondeathbymortgage:
Well, I guess Tony did draw a picture of forest friends in a way, but I doubt the crayola box and the bear are very far on their way to being bosom buddies. And the English teacher rears her ugly head and says, "Semicolons ONLY belong between two independent clauses (aka complete sentences), not between an independent clause and a fragment!!!" Baaaa! Sorry. It is just that I happen to be very fond of semicolons and am somewhat insistent on their right to be used correctly. Or I am just anal that way. Possibly both.
:iconlt-action:
Isn't that a regular colon though?
:icondeathbymortgage:
Okay, you asked for it, buster. A semicolon and a colon CAN be used in somewhat of the same context
"I am extremely frustrated right now; my dog just threw up a dryer sheet he ate." - either a semicolon or a colon would be appropriate, epecially since the second sentence explains the first so the colon would be a little more appropriate. However, you need to have a complete sentence before and after the colon/semicolon.
Another use for a colon would be. "I had a rather dull birthday because I did these chores in lieu of something fun: cleaning the house, walking the dog, and doing laundry." In this case, there needs to be a complete sentence before the colon.
However, this is NOT a good use of a colon/semicolon "I will scream if I see one more student journal to grade; because of the grading I've already done." This is wrong because there is not a complete sentence following the semicolon."
And that concludes my English teacher rant for the day. Apologies to any innocent bystanders that were hit by friendly fire.

somehow the idea of you thinking about poor crayons getting slashed open doesn't suprise me.

I believe in "Aku Soku San."
I believe even more in "Baka Soku San."

Awesome.
